We are looking for sales professionals – Advertising Sales Managers in West Midlands area, especially in Wolverhampton and surrounding area with a proven background in advertising sales, to join a progressive company and expanding the advertising network.

Who we are looking for:

The successful Advertising Sales Manager will have a proven track record in a sales industry especially print media/advertising sales experience with at least 5 years of advertising sales manager experience in print media REQUIRED!It as advantage, if the Advertising Sales Manager has been worked in the field of printed magazines, publications for the last 3 years!

The Advertising Sales Manger will be a confident seller from the front, thinking creatively and immersing yourself in the role. We are looking for someone motivated hitting, exceeding sales targets who can build excellent business relationships. All candidates must have excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels, strong leadership and managing skills.

You will be responsible for the followings:

  • The most important key responsibility for Advertising Sales Manger are: to build, develop, managing and mentoring the Advertising Sales Executive Team.
  • Develop and maintain sales and marketing strategies.
  • Ensure effective training and recruitment process continuously…( Advertising Sales Executive Team ).
  • Mentoring and coaching the Advertising Sales Executive Team to high standard and ensuring report any performance to the Sales Director.
  • Create sales and marketing campaign from start to finish.
  • Oversee all marketing and sales advertising and promotional activities.
  • Undertake market research on competitors, market trends and brand awareness.
  • Co-ordinating individual plans with management and lead of departments to ensure effective results.
  • Develop and create ideas to increasing sales.
  • Determine sales forecast and present figures to the management.
  • Plan the advertising account activities as identifying customers, managing resources and setting deadlines.
  • The Advertising Sales Manager will be responsible for sales, retention and developing existing and new accounts.
  • The Advertising Sales Manager direct hire and evaluate the sales team members ( Advertising Sales Executives).
  • Develop, manage and maintain relationships with advertisers.
  • Ensure department meets quota and organisational objectives.

Essential skills and experience:

  • A consultative sales approach is a must , as is a genuine desire to uncover and understand your customers needs, through questioning and listening.
  • Previous experience in retention and vulnerable accounts and understanding of advertising sales would be a distinct benefit, although the right aptitude and attitude is most important.
  • The successful candidate must have the ability to build and maintain the relationships with the clients that lead to increase revenue.
  • The candidate will have demonstrable previous experience selling print advertising and within B2B and B2C sales.
  • The candidate must have minimum 3 years print media advertising sales experience….REQUIRED!!!
  • The successful candidate must have a proven track record of delivering results and generating new businesses revenue growth.
  • Ability to successful close negotiations.
  • Real hunger to sell and make money, outgoing personality!
  • The candidate will have excellent sales and closing skills, a proven track record of advertising sales in print media and sales success, will work well under pressure, have strong work ethic and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales industry, especially advertising sales experience in print media, minimum 3 years … REQUIRED!!!
  • Imaginative approach to sales, excellent verbal and communication skills at all levels and good presentation skills.
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confident and self motivated, approachable, friendly manner and focused.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and targets .
  • High work ethic.
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiating skills with a passion for prospecting must be persistent and resilient.
  • Ability and confidence to present our clients advertising solutions that meet their needs.

  • Time management and attention to detail are essential, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Sell advertising spaces to clients face to face.
  • Create sales targets and achieve results.
  • Establishing strong relationships with clients.
  • Finding out who controls the advertising budget in target, organisations, businesses, companies and contacting them.
  • Meet monthly revenue targets set by the Advertising Sales Manager.
  • Arranging and attending meetings with clients.
  • Offering a price, negotiating around it, closing the deal and recording the details.
